Johann Pachelbel (German Baroque Composer) 1653-1706

Johann Pachelbel is considered the composer who most brought the south German organ tradition to its highest level. He was also one of the most important composers of the middle Baroque era. Pachelbel is best known for the Canon in D (Pachelbel's Cannon), the only canon he ever wrote.
